There are days when a ponytail is necessary, especially days with temps that sneak into the 100′s (I’m looking at you, Minnesota). I’ve had long hair for most of my life (with the exception of a poorly thought-out short cut during my college years which I still have nightmares about, but that’s a story for another time) and I definitely can speak to the ease of ponytails. But until I found Scunci’s No Slip Grip Evolution Ponytail Holders, I constantly battled ponytail holders that would either rip out my hair or weren’t elastic enough to hold up a ponytail. I skeptically picked up a package of Evolution holders during a Target run and was pleasantly surprised when its claims of being “grippy” without pulling out your hair actually were true. Inexpensive and effective? Done and done. The ponytail holders are made from a rubberized jelly, are good for all hair types and are sold in packets of 14.
I’m a huge advocate for these ponytail holders – you can get a four-pack bundle at Target for $12.99. I was able to purchase a individual packet in store at Target, so you might have to travel to your local store if you don’t want to purchase a four-pack.
